It's between them and the Senators. But I'll take the Redwings over the Senators (sans Hasek). I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when Edmonton shut the door on Detroit's season... I was NOT looking forward to THAT series. We need to close out the Oilers before they steal some momentum back. We MUST win ONE at Rexall...

GO SHARKS!!!Jimmy Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10515398081664479039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19918354.post-1147227628708532702006-05-09T19:20:00.000-07:002006-05-09T19:20:00.000-07:00Hey. There really is nothing like a game at the Joe! (Well... and at the Palace for my boys, the Pistons!)

Sounds like you have a pretty busy year coming up. I'm looking forward to hearing about your (little bit crazy)training and races. Oh, and congrats on your upcoming wedding!sunshinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18242610800073587191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19918354.post-1147209352249476102006-05-09T14:15:00.000-07:002006-05-09T14:15:00.000-07:00Detroit DOES sound intriguing, and I'd LOVE to see...Detroit DOES sound intriguing, and I'd LOVE to see my first hockey game in "Hockeytown, USA" as it would be delightful to cheer for WHOMEVER the Redwings were playing! ;)

The thing that is prohibitive is October is the most NUCKIN-FUTS month of the year for me. Two birthdays (mine & my fiancee's), our anniversary (this year #5 and soon our WEDDING), and I'm coaching marathons in back-to-back weekends, when typically I run 30+ miles, sometimes 40+ miles, depending on how many athletes I have in the race. This September, I'll be running my first 100-miler, so who knows how I'll even recover, AND I'm planning on running one of Dean Karnazes' 50-marathons in 50-days with him in either Arizona OR Nevada. So basically, I have a 100-miler in mid-Sept, then THREE runs of 26.2 or more in October. Detroit 2008, maybe!? lol

I love my insane running life...Jimmy Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10515398081664479039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19918354.post-1147142265016823512006-05-08T19:37:00.000-07:002006-05-08T19:37:00.000-07:00There's always Detroit in October... You get to run in the U.S. and Canada as the course goes over the bridge into Windsor and back into the "D" via the tunnel.sunshinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18242610800073587191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19918354.post-1146745839086347652006-05-04T05:30:00.000-07:002006-05-04T05:30:00.000-07:00Michelle,I am coaching the upcoming FALL team trai...Michelle,
I am coaching the upcoming FALL team training for the Long Beach and Nike Women's Marathon (in SF) which happens to KICK OFF on May 20th, so Palos Verdes won't be an option for me. I am also racing the San Diego Rock'n'Roll HALF Marathon, so the full will be out that day. After feeling what my legs felt in Boston (Marathon #5 this year), I have ultimately chosen NOT to pursue the marathon every month game. I prefer to do WELL at the remaining races on my schedule... but you rule for even suggesting it. lol

I LOVE runners.
